A Tale of Two Agents: Chapter Fifty. Here’s our May Day in Minnesota

As full of spirit as the month of May, and as gorgeous as the sun in Midsummer.
— William Shakespeare

May has been a spirited month for us here at DropCap. A cabin in the woods, an IBPA PubU Conference, a successful first quarter, plenty of ongoing AI discussions, author and publisher meet-ups, and our seven year anniversary. We thank you for supporting us, tagging us, and sharing our books together in the world, including:

Cabin Fever

Minnesota in May this year meant a DropCap retreat at Allison’s idyllic lakeside cabin on Big Sissabagama Lake, Wisconsin. For the non midwesterners in the group - New Yorkers, Canadians and Italians alike! - we were versed in fry bread (a dinner appetizer) and cheese curds, big open skies and cosy fire pits, and back in SOTA (Minnesota to those in the know), expressions like Uff Da and You Betcha! that we promise to integrate into our next book fair meetings.

We welcomed our newest colleague, Steven Zahurones, Senior Marketing Manager, Demand Generation, and he impressed not only with his marketing savvy but with his skills on the easel, guiding us through a painting session with the humour and expertise of a fledgling Bob Ross.
