Lisa King
Lisa has worked with students developing and using innovative practices as a school counselor for 20 years. She has won numerous awards in her district and presented her programs at local, state and national conferences. Lisa has authored six books including her latest book, Integrating Growth Mindset: Strategies and Scripts for Bringing Growth Mindset to Your Learning Community, a follow up to Mindset Matters: A Counseling Curriculum to Help Students Understand how to Help Themselves Succeed with a Growth Mindset (2016). Other books of hers include, Making the Link (2005), Academic Advisement Program (2006), Teaching Career Essentials (2015) and How to Create A College Day (2016). Lisa attended Tufts University for her undergraduate degree and Georgia State University for her graduate degrees. She lives in Marietta, GA (Atlanta suburb) with her husband and daughter.
