Giulia calls herself a bittersweet illustrator, because in her illustrations she likes to mix poetry, irony and, at times, a grotesque note. She was born in 1993 in Piacenza. She attended the Bruno Cassinari Artistic High School while attending sculpture courses at the 'Isti- tuto dell'Arte e Tecnologia del Marmo'. Also in 2012, she received a merit scholarship for International School of Comics in Reggio Emilia, where she fell in love with illustration. In 2015, Giula opened the Foglie al Vento studio together with Alessandra Santelli, where she works on commissions for private individuals and agencies.
